The letter قاف Qaaf ق is one of four letters that are not pronounced properly in Levantine like in the standard FusHa. As FusHa is known to be a strong language, Levantine picked some sounds from there and just decided to grant us easier ways to pronounce them by just softening them. As for "Qaaf", it differs among the Shaami countries in terms of using.
